Jonathan and Kristine Pass
Jonathan Pass was raised in the San Ramon Valley and has spent the majority of his life in the Bay Area, attending San Ramon High School and graduating from St. Marys College in Moraga. He met his wife, Kristine, at Charlotte Wood Middle School (the original one) and they started dating while attending college and married after graduation. They have 3 boys (Kyle, Benjamin and Brady) and live in the Lamorinda Area.
Kristine and Jonathan both grew up in families that loved dogs and had tremendous compassion for animals. Jonathan was first introduced to dogs at a very young age since his parents were active in rescuing Golden Retrievers and still help today in their retirement years. He spent a lot of his childhood hiking the East Bay Hills with his dogs.
When the opportunity arose to run Woof we jumped at the opportunity. As long-term dog owners, we realized how difficult and important it is to find care for your best friend and to be able to trust the staff and facility so you can enjoy your holiday, day off or just focus at work. With a convenient location, a safe building, and outdoor space for the dogs to get fresh air and sunshine- the stars aligned for us!
No detail was overlooked as multiple years of experience laid the groundwork for creating an environment that would be both safe, comfortable and conducive to a good doggy time. Premium flooring both indoors and out, top-of-the-line kennels and beds, separate areas for little and big dogs – every aspect of WOOF has been given the greatest level of regard for our canine guests’ safety and enjoyment!
Of course, any dog hotel is only as good as its staff. Jonathan is a hands-on owner-operator and is constantly upgrading his knowledge through continuing education programs, veterinarians, and trainers. Every employee of WOOF is hand-selected and must demonstrate a serious commitment to safety, good judgment and show a sincere passion for animal welfare – to do this job well, you have to really like dogs. (And we do!)
We are always on the lookout for talented and compassionate dog professionals who put the safety, happiness and well-being of our guests first. If you are that kind of person, send your resume to us at woofinfo@dogslovewoof.com!
Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your dog. We are wagging like crazy.
